It's a place to shake, move, and groove! Everything you want to hear from the early 70s all the way to modern age. Post-Punk, Avant-Garde, Alt-Rock, Punk, Goth, Electronic, Indie. Timeless music for a timeless experience. I play, and you see!
The kitchen is open until 2am. Our cocktail mixologist will be serving up the tastiest beverages, all to an eclectic rock soundtrack. And for those who didn't know - it's a bottomless coffee cup.

Meet Jacob Placey
...music lover, co-host of Around the Corner CIUT radio show, member of the solar punk band Soulair, and Lapdance Band.
Placey comes to Insomnia Restaurant & Lounge each and every Wednesday starting at 10pm to provide sonic nourishment. If it grinds, pumps, slams, gently rages, it could be on the playlist.
Placey reaches way back to dayz when the guitar ruled and a lovely wall of noise was embraced as tightly as a cold beer.
